Recipe ingredients

Below are the ingredients and a few helpful notes to make the best cranberry mimosas.

Ingredients shown: orange Juice, cranberry juice, Gran Gala, prosecco, and bowl of cranberries.
  • Prosecco. A dry or off-dry prosecco works well. Champagne or another sparkling wine can be substituted.
  • Orange juice. Fresh-squeezed orange juice gives the best bright flavor.
  • Cranberry juice. Use 100% cranberry juice or a blend you enjoy; adjust sweetness to taste.
  • Orange liqueur. Gran Gala, Grand Marnier, Cointreau or Triple Sec add depth; omit if you prefer a lighter drink.
  • Cranberries and rosemary. Fresh cranberries and a rosemary sprig make a festive garnish.

See the recipe card below for exact quantities and full instructions.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 ounce orange liqueur (Gran Gala, Grand Marnier or Cointreau)
  • 2 ounces orange juice
  • 2 ounces cranberry juice
  • 1/2 cup prosecco (or fill the glass to the top)
  • 1 handful fresh cranberries, for garnish
  • 1 sprig rosemary, for garnish

Instructions

  • Add the orange liqueur, orange juice and cranberry juice to a champagne flute.
  • Stir gently to combine.
  • Top with prosecco, filling the glass to your preference.
  • Garnish with cranberries and a rosemary sprig and serve immediately.

Notes

  • Keep all ingredients very cold since this drink is served without ice.
  • Frozen cranberries make attractive, chill-enhancing garnishes that double as mini ice cubes.
  • If using fresh-squeezed orange juice, strain it to remove pulp for a smoother drink.
  • Scale the recipe for a crowd by preparing the juices and liqueur in a pitcher and topping with sparkling wine just before serving.
  • Adjust the cranberry juice amount to taste if you prefer a sweeter or tarter profile.
  • Orange liqueur is optional; omit for a simpler, lower-alcohol version.
