Pumpkin Pie Hot Chocolate Recipe — Cozy Spiced Drink Guide

Thanksgiving and the holiday season are about gathering with family and friends, feeling grateful, and finding small ways to share joy. It’s a time to step away from the daily rush and savor the company and comforts around us.

We often miss simple moments of joy in everyday life. This season I partnered with Reddi-wip because they encourage people to discover more joy in ordinary moments and to share it so it grows. I love that idea—joy multiplies when it’s shared. I enjoyed creating recipes featuring Reddi-wip that celebrate the senses and invite you to pause and enjoy the season.

Today I’m sharing two cozy hot cocoa recipes that are perfect for fall gatherings or quiet evenings at home. Both are easy to make, richly flavored, and finished with a generous dollop of Reddi-wip.

The first recipe is an Iced Cinnamon-Pumpkin Spice Latte. It’s creamy, gently spiced, and surprisingly refreshing when served cold.

Two cups of Pumpkin Pie Hot Chocolate with fall themed decorations on the table.

Ingredients:

2 cups milk
2 tablespoons canned pumpkin
2 tablespoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1/2 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
1/2 cup brewed coffee
Reddi-wip
Honey (optional)

Directions:

1. In a saucepan, whisk together the milk and sugar. Add the canned pumpkin and heat, stirring, until the mixture is steaming—then remove from the heat.
2. Stir in the pumpkin pie spice and vanilla extract. Whisk briefly; you’ll notice a bit of foam form.
3. Cool the mixture in the refrigerator until chilled.
4. Pour the chilled mixture over ice and add the brewed coffee.
5. Top with Reddi-wip and finish with a light sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice or a pinch of nutmeg. Drizzle a little honey if you like extra sweetness.
