Skiers’ Breakfast Burrito at Beaumont Bakery: Fuel for the Slopes

On my Salt Lake City breakfast tour I’m focusing mainly on newer spots, but there are a few places I’ve visited before that still feel fresh to the valley and deserve a spot on the list. One such staple is Beaumont. Today I picked up a breakfast burrito and knew it had to be included.

I love Beaumont for two main reasons: convenience and freshness. If you spend time in the mountains along the Wasatch Front, Beaumont is one of the best places to fuel up before heading out. I often grab a breakfast burrito on my way up the canyon before a big ski day. The drive-through makes it quick and easy without sacrificing quality. While drive-through burritos from many Mexican spots can be greasy and sit heavy, Beaumont’s feels lighter and fresher—better for a day when you’ll be active outdoors.

Beaumont’s breakfast burrito is loaded with fresh eggs, bacon, avocado, roasted corn, and bell peppers. What takes it over the top is the sauce—the creamy tomatillo-escabeche dressing adds brightness and depth. A great breakfast burrito almost always hinges on its sauce, and Beaumont delivers.

Located between 3900 and 4500 South on Wasatch Boulevard, Beaumont offers more than just a standout burrito. The café serves excellent coffee, fresh pastries, and a delicious burrata salad. It’s reliable for both grab-and-go needs and a relaxed sit-down visit. A small caveat: good food attracts crowds, and Beaumont is no exception. Weekends often bring lines and people gathered outside. If you only want coffee and pastries, the quick run-in or drive-through is convenient. If you plan to sit and linger, expect a wait on busy weekend mornings. The patio and thoughtfully designed interior make it worth a stop when you have time.

Beaumont remains one of my go-to morning spots in the valley—convenient, fresh, and consistently tasty.
